Information for New Patients
Cornerstone Chiropractic is currently welcoming new patients. We can generally accommodate new patient appointment requests within one week, however we will gladly share any earlier available appointments with a new patient in acute need of care. Intake appointments for new patients are typically 60 to 75 minutes in length, and consist of a New Patient Examination as well as an initial Chiropractic Adjustment, and may also include additional adjunct therapies such as Myotherapy where necessary. Please refer to our fee schedule below for a full itemization of treatment costs.
Former patients returning for care after a period of 3 years or greater must be treated as new patients will require an intake appointment as described above.
All scheduling for new patients is currently conducted by phone. Please call our office at 703-836-2225 to request an appointment.

Private-Pay Billing Policies
Cornerstone Chiropractic is a private-pay practice. As such, we do not accept payment via insurance providers or file insurance claims on behalf of our patients. All patients are responsible for their own accounts, and payment for all treatment is required at the time of service. Itemized medical statements are available upon request for patients who opt to file claims for reimbursement with an insurance provider. As we are not able to make individual coverage determinations, we ask that you contact your insurance provider in advance for assistance in determining your benefits and coverage for out-of-network chiropractic care.
Cornerstone Chiropractic is a non-participating provider with Medicare. However, patients covered under Medicare Part B may have claims submitted on their behalf for the reimbursement of fees paid towards eligible Chiropractic Adjustments deemed by Medicare to be medically necessary—typically those treating acute pain or injury relating to a specific incident or accident. Medicare does not currently cover the cost of Chiropractic Adjustments for the management of chronic pain, or the costs of any other fees, such as New Patient Examinations, therapies, or other services. Please see our fee schedule below for details.
As a courtesy to federal employees in the Blue Cross & Blue Shield Federal Employee Program (with policy numbers beginning with "R" and group numbers 104-105), our staff will file claims for reimbursement on your behalf if requested. Coverage may vary, and we ask that patients contact BC/BS in advance to determine their coverage.
